Construction began in 2002 December and is nearly complete as of
2003 February 2. There are two new
classrooms plus a new vestibule adjacent to the outside door.

Here is the latest view from the same familiar vantage point as some of the
construction photos. Now the trash is gone, the paint is on, the new floor
tiles are in, and even the old tiles in the foreground are shiny clean with a
new coat of wax.
The first class use was today! Teachers are storing some of their
materials. This view is from the vestibule through the new window. (You
can see the Exit sign reflected in the glass.)
The teachers look pleased enough, but the photographer had a little trouble with
color balance. The turquiose wall color in the previous image is closer to
reality, but why not go see for yourself?
The classroom is dedicated to "our fair ladies" of the Fall
Festival, who over several years raised enough money for the construction.
View of classroom from opposite side. The sleek and modern emergency light
system is installed, but the ceiling tiles are not all installed yet.
Another view from the meeting area: both classrooms with the vestibule and
outside door to the left. If you look hard, you can see some more of the
last details that are not quite completed.
