The choir arrived early to practice. No robes needed yet.
We arrived on a cloudy but still springlike day.
We had lots of music. The opening choral call to worship was sung from
the choir loft.
Then the choir took its usual place...

...and sang with the congregation during the hymns.
The stained glass windows let in lots of light even with the clouds, and the
flowers and special decorations brightened things up.
Ken and Gretchen, in special costumes, offered the children's message.
What was in those bags?

Some people had guesses.
But who would have expected the last bag to be empty? (It actually
contained air, as one child pointed out.) Remind you of anything?
Ken, surrounded by flowers and the Easter banner, also had a message for
adults.
Balloons too.

We celebrate Holy Communion on every Easter Sunday. Here Ken blesses
the bread with deacons standing by to distribute the elements to the
congregation.
The choir put its practice to good use, singing the anthem.
