Kids' Sunday
On May 17, NHCC held its annual "Kids' Sunday" worship, led by
the children of the church. The theme was "Discipleship,"
and there were a variety of lessons and activities. Here are a few images.

Kids led the whole congregation in a hymn in sign as well as audible
language.
Cards were handed out to the congregation describing attributes of
discipleship.
Kids
read a number of passages.
Some of the readings were sermon-like...
and others from Scripture.
This
activity, not easy to explain, is based on a "Children's Time" event
from an earlier worship service.
Another reading.
Reversing
"Children's Time" in our usual worship service, this service had
"Adult Time," where some adults sat on the steps and answered
questions.
More readings, even by some of the youngest children.
And
more.
And more from one of the youngest.
One of the attributes of discipleship is prayer. Here the candles
illustrate the different types of prayer.
The types of prayer are explained here, also handed out to the
congregation.
Here
the children join in a final hymn, led and accompanied by one of the older
youth.
