As in the past several years, NHCC sponsored a community Easter egg hunt prior to worship. Here one of the "Easter bunnies" hides one of the eggs.

And they're off!  It was a beautiful, sunny spring day.

Here's one young egg-hunter dressed for the occasion.

The plastic eggs open up, but if you want to know what was inside, come next year.

The worship service included all the usual elements.  Here Ken gives one of the Scripture readings. To hear Ken reading John 20:1-11, click here. (This is a 1.3 MB file and lasts 3m48s.)

To listen to Ken's sermon "The Body of Christ," click here. (This is a 4.1 MB file and lasts 11m52s.)

Back to topIn the early Christian church, Easter day was a traditional time for baptisms.  That hasn't been so common in recent years, but this year we had two Easter baptisms at NHCC.

As always at NHCC, Easter worship included Holy Communion.  Here Ken blesses the fruit of the vine (grape juice to allow all to participate).

Music is always an important part of Easter worship, as indeed of almost all our worship services.  The choir was accompanied by trumpets as well as our organ.

The delightful trumpet soloists, Ross Hill and Christine Fawson, were back. They have played at the last few NHCC Easter servicese.
