NHCC is blessed with beautiful stained glass
windows. The six double-paned "teaching windows" were added in the
1960's. Each window illustrates two Bible stories.

The Parable of
the Good Samaritan
Which of these three, do you think, proved neighbor to the man who fell among
the robbers?" He said, "The one who showed mercy on him." And
Jesus said to him, "Go and do likewise."

The Parable of the Sower
A sower went out to sow his seed; and as he sowed, some
fell along the path, and was trodden under foot, and the birds of the air
devoured it. And some fell on the rock; and as it grew up, it withered away,
because it had no moisture. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns grew with
it and choked it. And some fell into good soil and grew, and yielded a
hundredfold.

The Parable of
the Banquet
"But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed,
the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you.
You will be recompensed at the resurrection of the just."

Teaching the Multitude
And he called to him the multitude with his disciples, and said to them,
"If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up the
cross and follow me."
